Curriculum Tidbits:

  • With the shortened week, we will be fitting in as much as we can to make progress on our persuasive essays, review the Sermon on the Mount, practice multiplying fractions, and begin work on our "Help Wanted" posters for our study of colonial occupations in social studies.
  • We will not have Word Work/Spelling OR reading minutes next week!

Other Tidbits:

  • We are so excited to welcome a NEW student to our class next week!  Keira Kelly will be joining us beginning Tuesday, November 22. Welcome, Keira!
  • Monday, November 21 is our long-awaited trip to visit with author Gary D. Schmidt at Calvin University.  Students should plan on dressing for the weather as there will be a fair amount of outdoor walking on campus.  They should also being a sack lunch, backpack, and any book(s) they would like signed by Prof. Schmidt.
