Curriculum Tidbits:

- We'll finish our articles on the Super Bowl and will then use some Olympic articles for comprehension work and work on answering questions in complete sentences and proving our answers by highlighting the evidence in the text.
- Our Bible stories will now follow the life of Jacob before moving on to Joseph.
- In math, we will continue to calculate elapsed time before reviewing fractions and measurement in preparation for a unit test.
- Our current science unit is Force and Motion.
Other Tidbits:
- Our class will celebrate Valentine's Day on Thursday, February 12, with the (optional) exchange of valentines among our class. I will attach a class list to our weekly email. (If your third grader chooses to pass out valentines, please include either all the boys or all the girls or everyone in the class to avoid hurt feelings.)
