Week #26 Tidbits

{Scroll to the end to see pictures of biography reading and Force & Motion stations.}

Curriculum Tidbits:

  • We are just about ready to push "print" for our opinion essays once we do some final editing.
  • In reading, we will finish up learning how to read biographies this week.
  • Our Bible stories will include all the stories about Joseph's dreams and the dreams he interpreted for others.
  • Math Unit 5 has us learning about area and perimeter and working to decompose rectangles. We continue to regularly work on growing and maintaining our math fact fluency across all four operations.
  • In our study of Force and Motion, we will explore pendulums and things that push and pull on the playground.
  • Our Bible memory passage for the month of March is Matthew 28:1-10. This week we will do Sing, Move, and Memorize with Mrs. Winningham to help refresh our memory.
  • On Tuesday morning, we will be treated to a mini-concert by the HCHS Band.
  • This week Friday, March 13, marks the end of the third quarter. Our year is flying by!
