Week #32 Tidbits

Curriculum Tidbits:

  • We closed out last week by publishing our literary essays. They will be coming home this week! We had a fun time writing about a pretty silly story. Next, we will do a unit on Poetry.
  • Our Bible stories are following the life of Moses. The Israelites have been led out of Egypt, and now we will learn about how God cares for them as they wander in the wilderness.
  • We have had lots of fun learning about geometry in math. This week we will learn a bit about volume measurements.
  • In Social Studies we'll continue learning about Michigan's economy.
  • Our Bible memory passage for the month of April is Acts 2:1-4.
  • Swimming Lessons begin on Monday! We will leave RP at 10:30 and return for lunch.
  • Please return the brightly colored, reddish paper came home last week about Tulip Time pickup. We need to know who will be meeting us at the end of the Kinderparade route to pickup your third grader. Thank you!
