Curriculum Updates:

  • As we learn about the Revolutionary War, we will look at the differences between the Continental and British armies, and dig deeper into the Battle of Lexington & Concord.
  • We continue to work on publishing our informational/research writing.  This week we will be adding in text features.
  • If your fifth grader is making an optional project to share with the class, we will be sharing those the week before Spring Break.
  • Historical Fiction Book Clubs have been formed, books have been distributed, reading schedules have been made, and we are reading to dive into our books on Monday.
  • Our math focus is on order of operations and ordered pairs/coordinates.

Other Updates:

  • Family Fun Night is Friday (3/13) from 5:30-8:00pm.  Thank you for all of your donations and for volunteering to help out!
