Our school theme is "Woven Together", which is exactly my hope and prayer for each year - that my students become woven together, feeling safe, valued, and needed to make our classroom complete. May our eyes be opened even more fully this year to how God weaves us all together to glorify Him.
On Tuesday, August 18, a video will be emailed to you in which I will give you a good overview of our year together in fifth grade. (I will cover the information I usually share at our in-person Meet the Teacher event.)
On Thursday, August 20, you and your fifth grader are welcome - and even encouraged! - to visit our classroom. Follow this link to sign up for a time slot. Up to four families may sign up for each slot. I will be coming to meet you outside - at a location yet to be determined - to walk you in to see our room, find your locker, check out your desk, and ask any questions you may have.
In a year that has held so much uncertainty, may we find comfort in knowing that nothing is a surprise to our Father. May we feel His hands holding us as we walk - woven together - into this new school year.
