It was SO good to meet all of you who were able to make it to the Ice Cream Social last night. Thank you for taking the time to visit. What a JOY to see kids in the room!
Here are a few reminders for our first day/week:
- Tuesday, August 22, is a FULL day, so your third grader should come with a lunch or be prepared to take hot lunch.
- If needed, please bring any school supplies that did not already get brought to school.
- Please send your third grader with a book (or two or three) that he/she enjoys and is able to read.
- We will be decorating the cover of our writing journals with photos sometime during the first week, so it would be great if they had photos to use by Thursday (8/24).
THANK YOU for all the donations of disinfecting wipes and tissues. These are so helpful to have on hand.
The focus of our first week will be on building a classroom community, learning and practicing procedures and routines, understanding expectations, and doing some review to get our brains and bodies back into learning mode.
I am anticipating God doing amazing things in our room this year.
