As I write this I am sitting in a cottage overlooking the beautiful water and listening to the sounds of summer. It seems unreal that it's time to think about school. However, I've learned that this usually how the beginning of each school year feels. By the time the first day rolls around, we all somehow adjust to the change in routine. My prayer is that this year is no different.
I've also been praying for the new dynamic that this combination of students will bring. I know that God has us together for his good purposes, and I'm confident that we will soon become a school family.
My welcome letter to your third grader should be arriving by Friday, August 8. In it are all the details needed to get our year off to a good start.
