Next week is Makers' Week! All students will enjoy daily S.T.E.A.M. (science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics) activities.
We are finishing up our math unit on division. In preparation for the unit test on Wednesday (2/13), a practice test was sent home with your fifth grader. The completed and corrected test is due back on Monday (2/11).

On Tuesday, February 19, both fifth grades will enjoy a performance by the Grand Rapids Symphony Orchestra at Central Wesleyan Church. Our chaperones are Mrs. Rigterink, Mrs. Sterenberg, and Mrs. Laninga. We will gather at 10:30am to walk to the church. Students will need a sack lunch on that day.
We will have a small Valentine's Day celebration on Thursday (2/14), afternoon. Students are welcome to bring Valentine's to pass out. See the list of students in the parent email.
