- Psalm 23 is our Bible memory passage for the month of October. It is due on Friday (10/30).
- Our new Bible unit will continue to follow the ministry of Jesus.
- We will spend next week drafting our memoirs.
- In Reading we will finish up our unit on characters.
- In preparation for a math test on adding and subtracting fraction on Thursday (10/8), a math practice test was sent home with your fifth grader today. Over the weekend, they should work on...
- Completing the test.
- Correcting the test using the answer key sent in my email.
- Refiguring any problems they got wrong.
- Optional: Circle or highlight any sections that are confusing so we can review those sections together.
- Returning the test on Monday (10/5).
- In Science we will continue our study of space and what causes the seasons.
Other Tidbits:
- {Virtual} Grandparents' Day is Thursday (10/15).
- Parent/Teacher Conferences are Monday (10/19) and Tuesday (10/20). These will take place over Zoom. I look forward to meeting with you all!
