Curriculum Tidbits:
- This week our Bible lessons will dig into Jesus' continued ministry as he nears the end of his life.
- Our math unit will push us to evaluate whether our answers are reasonable and have us work to solve comparison word problems.
- Students worked in groups to create an infographic that advertises an imaginary space elevator ride. This helps them apply what they've learned about gravity from the first half of this unit.
- Fifth graders have chosen the books they will use in drafting their literary essays. Next week they will fill in a planning sheet and then begin drafting the first few paragraphs of their essays.
- Book talks continue with great success! While it may not be possible for all of you to access them, here is the link to our classroom collection of book talks.
