Our students were able to bless Kids' Food Basket with over 250 snack items. Your generosity is greatly appreciated; what a wonderful way to encourage the students to participate in community service!
Curriculum Tidbits:
- In Bible, students learned about Holy Week this week and will focus on Easter at the beginning of next week.
- Students have selected their book club books for our historical fiction reading unit which officially begins Monday.
- Our math unit, Algebra, Patterns, and Coordinate Graphs, continues as we do focused work with coordinate graphs next week.
- In social studies, we will learn about the Road to the American Revolution.
Other Tidbits:
- The PreK-5th Grade Spring Program is happening Thursday, April 21, at 7pm at Central Wesleyan Church. You won't want to miss it! (All students are required to attend and should arrive at 6:40pm.)
- Grandparents' Day is Friday, April 22. Grandparents are invited to visit their grandchildren's classrooms at Pine Ridge from 10-11am. Unlike past years, there will not be a "program" in the gym.
- On Tuesday, April 26, fifth graders will be touring Holland Christian Middle School. Along with getting a feel for the building, there will be a Q&A time with a panel of students and teachers.
